My son has a deep love for his blanket.
As much as I tried to steer him towards one of the many blue blankets we had, he went for the only white blanket. It has nubs. It's not as "white" as it used to be. But it's probably his dearest treasure on earth.

"You find the mail, Mommy?"
"You eating the pasta?
"Tasha's crying?"
"You see Daddy?"
These are a few examples of what we hear everyday. You learn to acknowledge him quickly or else the question/statement is repeated at increasing volume. They're questions because of the way he chooses to intonate. But really, they're statements because he's not expecting anything more than an acknowledgement that he's letting you know something.
